Profile
Dubbed an American-style wheat ale, Whale Shark Wheat is a limited edition collaboration with the Georgia Aquarium. Brewed with El Dorado, Sorachi Ace and some experimental hop varieties, it aims for an easy-drinking character, with a tropical hop aromas and flavors.
Overall, Whale Shark drinks a bit more like a pale ale than the typical German or Belgian wheat beer you might be expecting. Think Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale. It has a hoppy presence, with fruity and herbal notes of lemon and dill, and a flash of bitterness in the finish.
Pair with
Match the hoppy flavors and aromas of Whale Shark with smoked salmon or trout, Thai green curry, or creamy pasta dishes such Alfredo or carbonara.
