July is National Bison Month, and to commemorate, Fresh To Order is offering a bison "Better-For-You" burger as a healthier alternative to traditional burgers. Ground and hand-prepared, this bison burger is served with baby field greens, blue cheese crumbles and horseradish aioli on a whole wheat flat bread.

“Our bison burger is a killer burger,” Jesse Gideon, Fresh To Order’s COO and corporate chef said. “We have a really deep rich bison flavor from the perfect blend of different bison cuts. We pair it with [a] smoky signature BBQ sauce and sharp creamy blue cheese. It’s 50% messy and 100% delicious like a great burger should be!”

Bison is lower in fat, cholesterol and calories than beef, chicken or pork. It also provides more iron-rich protein per ounce.
