After a last minute delay, Four Seasons Atlanta unveiled Bar Margot today.

The new "hip yet relaxed Midtown lounge" features a menu collaboration from Atlanta chef/restaurateur Ford Fry of  Rocket Farm Restaurants and Four Seasons executive chef Robert Gerstenecker of Park 75. The "small-batch spirits menu" was conceived by two of Atlanta's most celebrated barmen, Greg Best and Paul Calvert.

Park 75 Lounge at Four Seasons Atlanta closed in July to make way for Bar Margot, named for Margot Tenenbaum, Gwyneth Paltrow’s character in the Wes Anderson cult film, “The Royal Tenenbaums.”

“Atlanta needs a cool hotel bar with big-flavor food and zero pretension, and I felt that the Four Seasons was an ideal place to make this happen,” Fry said in a press release. "For years, Greg, Paul and I have talked about joining forces, and when I thought about pairing an innovative cocktail menu with the food options at Bar Margot, they were the guys I knew could pull it off."

Food menu items include, Tagliolini Cacio e Pepe, house-made pasta with black pepper,  Parmiagiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano, and a take on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich, dubbed the Crunchy Ham & Cheese.

Among the seven signature cocktails, look for the Gin Margot, "a variation on a gin and tonic that includes sherry," and Mercy Street, "a souped-up Old Fashioned with a kick of Irish whiskey".

Bar Margot will serve lunch and dinner: 11 a.m-midnight Mondays-Thursdays; 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Fridays-Saturdays; 3 p.m.-midnight Sundays.
