Bacon giveaway in Atlanta and Alpharetta, holiday events for kids and more in metro Atlanta this week

Free bacon today and tomorrow. Breakfast with Santa events. There are several fun, food events happening in Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Dec. 5 – 6: Spread cheer, the bacon way.  Applegate , a natural and organic meat brand, will feature The Bacon Express, a pop-up food truck that will distribute free bacon outside Whole Foods in Alpharetta (2800 Old Milton Pkwy.) from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Dec. 5. Bacon will also be distributed at the Atlantic Station Ice Rink and Snow Show (1380 Atlantic Dr., Atlanta.) from 1-9 pm. Dec. 6.


Saturday, Dec. 9: Wahoo! Grill will host its annual breakfast with Santa, which will give children the opportunity to meet and have their picture taken with the jolly man and dive into a yummy buffet. Tickets are $22, $14 for children and free for children under three years old.

Sunday, Dec. 10: Dress snappy for Santa pictures captured by a professional photographer then dive into a breakfast buffet featuring omelet and carving stations, waffles, shrimp and grits, frittatas, bacon, sausage, salads, sweets and hot chocolate stations and more at The Southern Gentleman from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The kids buffet will include favorites like macaroni and cheese, breakfast corn dogs and chicken fingers. Tickets are $35 for adults inclusive of a mimosa or spiked eggnog and $18 for kids. Click here to purchase.

Sunday, Dec. 10: Learn the how-to behind toast-worthy cocktails during a mixology class at Urban Tree Cidery from 2-4 p.m. Participants will create four cocktails and depart with a cider of their choice. Tickets, which are $60, can be purchased here.
