A new spot for beer is coming to Glenwood Park.
Beer educator Jen Price is slated to open the Atlanta Beer Boutique later this year at 880 Glenwood Ave., across from Kevin Gillespie's restaurant Gunshow, Eater Atlanta reports.
The shop will feature a retail section with Georgia and international beers and a market selling items including glassware and spices.
The space will also house a small kitchen and a growler bar, where customers can drink beer on site or purchase growlers to take home. Price plans to host classes, tastings and workshops in the bar area.
Price, who has bachelor degrees in mathematics and civil engineering and a masters degree in city planning, launched a Kickstarter last year to help fund the project while looking at prospective locations and hosting tastings. She’s the author of “The Chick’s Guide to Beer.”
She hopes to open Atlanta Beer Boutique by the end of November.
