Atlanta barbecue restaurant to open as normal after fire

Sept 5, 2017

It'll be business as usual today at a popular Atlanta barbecue restaurant after a large fire at its business office yesterday.

Located next to Fat Matt's Rib Shack at 1811 Piedmont Ave., the office, which also houses a catering kitchen, caught fire Monday afternoon. The Atlanta Fire Department tweeted at 6:19 p.m. that the fire was under control and that there were no injuries.

The restaurant confirmed on its Facebook page that it would open as normal at 11:30 a.m. today.
