One of Atlanta's premiere fine dining restaurants, 4th & Swift in Old 4th Ward has closed. The announcement was posted on its Facebook page earlier today:

After much consideration, 4th & Swift has closed as of Sunday, July 24. We are beyond grateful for our loyal guests and the Old Fourth Ward community for their support which made us a success for more than eight years. This was a difficult decision and we thank you for your patronage over the years.

In late May, 4th & Swift's chef/owner  Jay Swift opened a new restaurant, Noble Fin, in Peachtree Corners  with his son, Jeb Aldrich, as the chef de cuisine. Billed as "a coastal American-inspired restaurant and bar," the menu features oysters and raw bar favorites, small plates, seafood entrees, and steaks, chops and poultry served with sides.
