Kennesaw State University's 8th Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular community celebration, originally scheduled for Saturday night, has been postponed until Sunday (June 28) due to the forecast of inclement weather.

The celebration on KSU's Campus Green will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, with games, face painting and balloon artists, food trucks, vendors and exhibits.

That will be followed by an at 8 p.m. concert by the KSU Summer Orchestra and Singers, performing patriotic tunes as well as contemporary and popular works. A fireworks finale concludes the free evening.

KSU has presented the community celebration annually since 2008 as a precursor to the Independence Day holiday.

The Campus Green is in the middle of KSU's campus at 565 Cobb Ave N.W., Kennesaw.
