From hair care to meals that tantalize the taste buds — let’s celebrate and support these six dynamic Black-owned businesses in metro Atlanta that deserve all the recognition in the world:

Stan’s Smoke Signals BBQ

If you’re looking for a casual barbecue spot that will make your mouth water and your stomach happy, look no further than Stan’s Smoke Signals BBQ.

This truck serves delicious foods, including a rib plate with baked beans and potato salad. Because it’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays, you should plan to arrive early. However, according to several social media posts, if you happen to get stuck in the notoriously long line, it’s worth it.

“Hands down the best bbq in the city. It’s a reason for the line outside. Definitely worth the wait,” a post on Yelp reads.
