New music alert! Gucci Mane and his crew might official be taking over this summer.

Gucci Mane just re-released his 1017 roster compilation album, ‘So Icy Gang’ this time titled ‘So Icy Gang: The Reup’ with 13 new tracks in addition to the original 19. The deluxe addition features 1017 label signees BigWalkDog, Enchanting, BiC, Big Scarr, Foogiano and Pooh Shiesty. Many fans were pleasantly surprised to hear tracks from Foogiano and Pooh Shiesty because of their current circumstances – they are both locked up and facing serious prison sentences for their respective, alleged crimes.

New tracks on the album include Gucci’s recent singles like ‘Mrs. Davis,’ ‘Publicity Stunt’ and ‘Serial Killers.’ Gucci most recently dropped the video for the single ‘Mrs. Davis’ as an ode to his wife, who has been with him through thick and thin. The two first met on a video set in 2010 and started dating after that, even through Gucci’s stint in prison. The album features also include ‘Rumors’ featuring Lil Durk, ‘Yeah Whoa’ featuring Nardo Wick and ‘First Impression’ which he also released the video for, featuring Quavo and Yung Miami.

Gucci also made a big announcement in addition to re-releasing ‘So Icy Gang: The Reup’ – and it seems like we’re going to be getting a lot more music from the 1017 label. In an Instagram post Gucci stated, “After this drop tonight’s it’s up my whole gang dropping they solo tapes this summer,” and proceeded to tag several artist on his label.

The 1017 label has been pretty consistent with putting out compilation projects; this is their fourth compilation release in three years. The label released ‘So Icy Gang’ in 2020, and ‘So Icy Boyz’ as well as their Christmas album ‘So Icy Christmas’ in 2021.
