The Atlanta Braves have changed the policy regarding food and beverages that fans are permitted to bring into the new SunTrust Park. No outside food or drink will be permitted, with the exception of sealed bottled water as well as infant food and special dietary restriction items.

So how much does it cost to eat at SunTrust Park?

Here’s what you’ll pay at concessions for some typical ballpark fare. When it comes to food, there are two pricing tiers: regular prices and A-list prices. The latter is an amenity for Atlanta Braves season ticket holders.

Jumbo all-beef hot dog: Regular price: $6.50, A-list price: $5.75

Burger basket (includes curly fries): Regular price: $10, A-list price: $9

Peanuts (8-ounce bag): Regular price: $5, A-list price: $4

Earlier this week, The Braves, in partnership with Delaware North Sportservice, which manages food and beverage service at SunTrust Park, unveiled a locally focused lineup of food options at the new stadium. Offerings span beyond typical peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Numerous menu items fall within the "Taste of Braves Country" program that showcases southern cooking from six states considered to be "Braves Country": Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama.

Examples of “Taste of Braves Country” fare include:

Fox Bros. BBQ smoked pork sandwich or chopped brisket sandwich with a choice of coleslaw or baked beans ($14)

Blackened catfish po’ boy taco at the Taco Factory stand that sees a 6-ounce filet of fish split among three tacos and topeed with tomatoes, shredded lettuce and Cajun remoulade (Regular price: $12, A-list price: $10.50)

Gu’s Zhong-style pork dumplings, Gu’s Chengdu noodles or Gu’s chicken pad Thai noodles ($9)

There is an approved tailgating zone near Surface Lot 6 at SunTrust Park where fans can enjoy their own food and beverages before entering the stadium. The designated lot will remain unlocked for two hours after each regular season game.
