"Legend of Kay Anniversary." This remastered version of the 10-year-old PlayStation 2 game is about a brave martial-arts-practicing cat trying to free an island ruled by gorillas and rats. The HD remake features more than 25 levels and online ranked leaderboards. Rated E-10+ for Everyone 10 and Older, $25-$30, for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii U, Windows PC and Mac.
"King's Quest: Chapter 1 – A Knight To Remember." Another remake, this one of the classic Sierra adventures games, debuts on multiple platforms and tries to recapture it in five episodes. Rated E-10+, $10, downloadable for PS4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Complete Collection available, $40 for all five episodes.
