Video games out this week
"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited." The Bethesda Softworks MMO arrives on consoles and is updated for Windows PC and Mac with some good news and bad news. The good news is that players won't be charged a monthly fee to play. The bad news is that while PC and Mac players can play the fantasy adventure togethers, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be away from their computer counterparts on their own servers. Still, it's big and it's "Elder Scrolls," which means a huge time investment into role-playing immersion. Rated M for Mature $60, for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One.
"LEGO Jurassic World." Expect the usual LEGO polish and humor in this bricky adaptation of the new Chris Pratt movie. 20 dinosaurs are included and in some versions, you can do drop-in/drop-out multiplayer with friends. Rated E-10+ for Everyone 10 and Older. $30-$60 for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
Also out this week: "Payday 2: Crimewave Edition" (Xbox One, PS4), " "Legends of Pixelia" (PC), "Aero's Quest" (PC), "Kholat" (PC), "Terraria" (PS Vita), "Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy" (PS Vita), "The Architect" (PC).
