Friday, May 15 is National Chocolate Chip Day — or National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, depending on who you’re talking to.

In either case, it is a day to celebrate all things Chocolate chippy. Here are a few deals/reasons to help you celebrate:

DoubleTree by Hilton: Anyone who walks into a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel throughout the day will get a free cookie with or without a reservation. In addition, DoubleTree will once again surprise thousands of travelers on May 15 by handing out their iconic chocolate chip and walnut cookies for free. The surprise giveaways will take place in a range of locations nationwide including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental counters in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Gigi's Cupcakes: This Friday you can get a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough gourmet cupcake for $2 to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. The offer is good  in store only. In addition, from May 15 through May 22, you can get Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Minis. The minis are available now online. Order them at GigisCupcakesUSA.com/orderahead.

Baskin Robbins:  Enjoy the flavor of the month — Mom's Makin Cookies  — all month long through May.

Full Moon BBQ: If you're near Birmingham, get a free Half Moon Cookie with any purchase. Full Moon's Half Moon Cookies are made from scratch daily with ingredients such as Southern pecans and chocolate chips. When they are fresh from the oven, the cookies are hand-dipped in melted milk chocolate.
