Coupon Mom: Stack savings at Publix, CVS beauty promo, Easter deals

Stack the savings at Publix

Look in the flyer rack at Publix stores for a coupon circular with the title “Over $49 in Coupon Savings” in a purple header to get store coupons for many items. These store coupons can be combined with manufacturer’s coupons from the Sunday AJC to save more. For example, there is a $4 Publix store coupon off Claritin in the flyer, and you can combine that with a $4 Claritin coupon from the March 8 SmartSource to save a total of $8 on selected varieties.

In addition, Publix has all Sundown Naturals vitamins or supplements on sale for 33 percent off. Use the $2-off-one coupon from the Feb. 1 RedPlum to stock up. Prices vary by size and type of vitamin. Nature’s Bounty vitamins or supplements (30 to 250 count) are also 33 percent off. Use the $2-off-two coupon from the March 1 RedPlum to save more.

When it comes to bathroom items, Publix has Cottonelle Fresh Care Moist Wipes (42-count tubs) on sale for $1.79. Use the 50-cent coupon from the March 8 SmartSource, which Publix will double, to pay 79 cents each. Right Guard Total Defense 5, Xtreme Heat Shield or Xtreme Fresh deodorant (2 to 4 ounce) is on sale for $2.99 each. Use the $2 coupon from the March 1 RedPlum to pay 99 cents each. Large 8.2-ounce tubes of Crest toothpaste are on sale for $2 each. Use the 75-cent coupon from the March 1 Procter & Gamble circular to pay $1.25 each.
