Get high value coupons
Check last Sunday’s AJC coupon circulars for high-value coupons and hot coupons to match items that go on sale often. The SmartSource circular has coupons for Colgate toothpaste and toothbrushes, a Target store coupon that gives you a $5 Target gift card when you spend $20 on hair care brands including Tresemme, Suave, Dove, Clear, Axe and Nexxus. Find several Schick razor coupons ranging in value from $1 up to $6 each as well as a $3 coupon off any one Almay lip product. Also find coupons for healthy items like Birds Eye Steamfresh vegetables, High Liner Sea Cuisine frozen fish items and Dannon Light & Fit Protein shakes.
Publix Promotion
Publix has a promotion that gives you a $10 Publix gift card every time you spend $30 on participating brands of frozen foods, up to a total of five gift cards now through April. The minimum $30 in spending to earn one card can be accumulated over multiple trips. You need to sign up at http://www.frozenrewardsclub.com and you will need to take a photo of your receipt and upload it to redeem your rewards. Participating brands include Healthy Choice, Marie Callender's, Bertolli and PF Chang's. Look at the Publix coupon booklet with the headline "Cool, Fresh Savings" in stores to get store coupons for these brands as well.
Deals on Snacks
Nature Valley, Dannon: Publix has Nature Valley Protein Granola (11-12.7 ounce) on sale for $3 per bag. Use the 75-cent coupon from the Feb. 8 SmartSource to pay $2.25 each. Dannon Light & Fit Protein Shake four-pack is on sale for $4.99. Use the $1 coupon from the Feb. 22 SmartSource to pay $3.99 or $1 per shake.
Fiber One, Nature Valley: Walgreens has Fiber One or Nature Valley bars (five to 10 count) on sale for $1.99 each. Use the 50-cents-off-two Fiber One coupon in the Feb. 22 SmartSource to pay $1.74 per box. Use the 50-cents-off-two Nature Valley coupon in the Feb. 8 SmartSource to pay $1.74 per box.
Breakfast savings at Walgreens
Cheerios: Walgreens has General Mills' Cheerios cereal (8.9- to 12.1-ounce boxes) on sale for $3 each. Buy three boxes and use the $1-off-three coupon from the Feb. 22 SmartSource to pay $2.67 each at the register. You will get a $2 Register Reward coupon, so your net cost will be $1.67 per box.
Turkey bacon: Walgreens has Butterball Turkey Bacon (6 ounce) on sale for $1.29. Use the 55-cent coupon in the Jan. 4 SmartSource to pay 74 cents each.
