According to the real estate experts at Zillow, Atlanta is the second best city in the country where singles can find lurrve…

After Washington, D.C., Atlanta rated highest on four metrics: Percentage of population who's single (70%),  percentage of population who's new and single (9.5%), date spots per 10,000 residents (39) and disposable income ($24.079.)

The thinking behind these metrics goes like this: first you need a large pool of eligible singles and it helps if they are new to town and also looking to connect with others. You must then have a wide range of date spots to meet up and you must have the money to afford them.

So if you’re single, get out and look around this Valentine’s Day. Here are a few options:

The Original El Taco: Hit the annual Stupid Cupid anti-Valentine's Day party at El Taco to meet up with other fed up singles. The fun goes from 5 – 11 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 14. The "Misery Loves Company" dinner special serves 3-5 people for $60 and includes:

  • Classic Tastes Trio (salsa, guacamole, queso blanco) or Trio Royale (salsa, guacamole, queso royale)
  • 10 tacos
