Anthropologie, Antico Pizza and Caffe Gio have opened locations at Avalon, the new mixed-use development in Alpharetta which in October welcomed a lineup of 50 retailers and 11 restaurants.
By the end of February, several more retailers will open including Crate & Barrel (Feb. 12) which is relocating from North Point Mall. (Side note: The Gap has also relocated from North Point Mall to Avalon).
On Feb. 2, exhale brings its barre/yoga/fitness studio, the second in Atlanta, to Avalon. The location will offer the full suite of proprietary Core Fusion and yoga classes. Exhale Avalon will host petite changing rooms and showers, though there will not be a spa on site.
Be sure to attend the grand opening celebration on Feb. 11, from 5 – 8 p.m. when you can enjoy free classes, food, drink and lots of raffle giveaways including five packs of classes, t-shirts and other swag. Exhale is located along the backside of Avalon. If arriving from SR 400, take Old Milton Parkway to 1st street and park in the parking deck straight ahead.
On Feb. 5, Colletta, a modern Italian restaurant from restaurateur Steve Palmer opens, led by Chef Michael Perez.
These openings will be followed by Marmi, Boston Proper, Piedmont Nails, Johnny Was, LottaFrutta and Bonobos, all expected to open in the first half of 2015.
