New video games this week:

"Elite: Dangerous." A Kickstarted space simulation that promises a full recreation of the Milky Way (yes, 400 billion or so star systems) as a continuation of the heralded "Elite" game series. Players can trade, bounty hunt or assassinate their way to riches in a persistent online game. Buyers of the PC version will also have access to the Mac version when that's complete. Not Rated. $50 for Windows PC.

"TERA: Fate of Arun." The first major expansion for the action MMO "TERA" features a new continent, a level cap of 65, and a new battleground in which teams compete against each other in a race to defeat enemies. Rated M for Mature, free for Windows PC.
