Still facing a mountain of Halloween candy and getting ready to toss it all?

Here is a way to turn that candy into some good.

Many dentist offices will buy it back or offer a prize per pound, and then those dentist offices (which are collection points for candy) send to Operation Gratitude and the candy is used in care packages.

Check with your dentist or to find one near you, go http://www.halloweencandybuyback.com/

Or if you want to ship your donations directly to Operation Gratitude, you can do so by sending

(NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 15) to: Operation Gratitude/California Army National Guard
ATTN: Halloween Candy/Angel Cuevas
17330 Victory Boulevard
Van Nuys, CA 91406

IMPORTANT: Donations sent to any other Operation Gratitude address will not be acknowledged.
