Does dating in Atlanta leave you frustrated and loaded with questions about how single men and women relate to each other "The Great Love Debate," a national tour of relationship experts that stops in Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. May 19 at King Plow Arts Center (887 West Marietta Street).
The tour was created four years ago by author Brian Howie to provide men and women of all ages and backgrounds a chance to voice their opinions about relationships and to have their dating questions answered in a town hall-style discussion.
The audience is split with men on one side and women on the other. Howie says this helps to create more dialogue. was split in two separate sections to encourage more dialogue.
“I felt men were a bit intimidated to ask questions about women, seated in the middle of a group of women,” Howie said.
Among the featured panelists is New York-based matchmaker Janis Spindel who says she has helped more than 1,000 men find mates in the past 20 years.
“I am very good at what I do,” said Spindel, “I pride myself on the quality of people I work with.”
Spindel will be part of the debate, but also says she has five Atlanta male clients for whom she is seeking wives. She will host a meet and greet 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the W Hotel in Buckhead.
