There is a 20 percent chance of rain. Showers won’t, however, be widespread, according to Channel 2.
Friday could see an increased chance of rain.
Expect a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon with a high of 94 degrees. Rain should enter metro Atlanta about 3 p.m. but should last through 6 p.m., Channel 2 Chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.
Friday only marks the start of an expected rain trend that should last through Tuesday, Channel 2 reported.
