The morning chill in the air is gone.
Currently, it’s 76 degrees in Atlanta, and there’s “not a cloud in the sky,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said.
Temperatures are expected to increase to a high of 78. That is also the average high for this time of year, Channel 2 reported.

The cool weather, however, did help clear the pollen.
The pollen count is down from 12 Friday to 6 particles per cubic meter of air Monday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.
The pollen count may soar again as temps continue to increase.
Highs are forecast to hit the 80s in some Georgia areas, but they won’t reach that mark until Tuesday in metro Atlanta.
Tuesday’s forecast high is 85 degrees, Channel 2 reported.
That will increase to 86 Wednesday and remain there Thursday, according to the latest forecast.
Conditions will also remain “mainly cloud-free for most of the time,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said.
“But they start to build in on Thursday,” Minton said. “And that sets the stage for showers and some thunderstorms.”
The next chance of rain is at 60 percent for Friday.
