The FBI will soon have about a dozen agents and task force officers, along with a special agent supervisor, based at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

That's an expansion of the FBI's presence working on the front lines on incidents or criminal issues at the Atlanta airport.

As the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson is “a potential target for various types of threats,” according to city documents. The FBI’s new office space on Concourse E is “exclusive and highly secure,” according to the airport.
