After a 42-14 win over Samford on Saturday, No. 11 Georgia hosts No. 17 Mississippi State for its first conference game of the season.

Here are a few notes about the matchup:

Game time: 7 p.m. on Saturday

Where: Sanford Stadium in Athens.

TV/Radio: ESPN; News 95.5 and AM-750 WSB

Last meeting: Georgia and Mississippi State last played in 2011 in Athens— Georgia won 24-10.

QB matchup: Georgia freshman quarterback Jake Fromm is expected to start in place of quarterback Jacob Eason who is recovering from a knee injury suffered in the Bulldogs' season opener against Appalachian State. In his second collegiate start, Fromm threw 8-for-13 for 165 yards and three touchdowns against Samford on Saturday.

Mississippi State and junior quarterback Nick Fitzgerald will seek their second straight SEC win after demolishing LSU 37-7 on Saturday. Fitzgerald threw 15-for-23 for 180 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers.
