In the eighth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves outfield Ronald Acuña recorded his first Major League hit.

With a 1-2 count and one out, Acuña hit a line drive up the middle of the field for a single.

In his first Major League plate appearance in the first inning, Acuña hit the ball deep to right center with two runners on base, but it was caught by Reds center fielder Scott Schebler caught it on the warning track for the inning’s final out.

The Braves went on to win Wednesday’s game against the Reds, 5-4.
