After a Super Bowl run and earning the NFL sack leader title in his second year with the Atlanta Falcons, is pass rusher Vic Beasley the best NFL Draft pick out of Clemson in the 21st century?

Chase Goodbread of NFL.com thinks so.

Beasley was selected with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Falcons and made a name for himself last season after a rookie season of adjustment and shoulder problems.

“After his rookie season struggles, there were questions about whether the Falcons had made a wise selection in taking Beasley,” Goodbread wrote. “There are questions no more. Beasley led the NFL in sacks in his second season with 15.5, helping the Falcons to an NFC title, and earning first-team All-Pro status.”

Out of the 68 Clemson played drafted since 2000, Goodbread’s list of the top five can be read below.

1. Vic Beasley, DE, drafted by the Atlanta Falcons (Round 1 in 2015)

2. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, drafted by the Houston Texans (Round 1 in 2013)

3. C.J. Spiller, RB, drafted by the Buffalo Bills (Round 1 in 2010)

4. LeRoy Hill, LB, drafted by the Seattle Seahawks (Round 3 in 2005)

5. Dwayne Allen, TE, drafted by the New York Jets (Round 3 in 2012)

Honorable mentions: WR Sammy Watkins and DB/RS Justin Miller
