Former Heisman Trophy received an invite to Major League camp with the New York Mets, for spring training, the team posted on Twitter Friday.

Tebow, 30, is one of nine players to be invited along with Peter Alonso, P.J. Conlon, Kevin Kaczmarski, Patrick Mazeika, Drew Smith, Corey Taylor, David Thompson and Adonis Uceta.

The former Florida Gator has been a part of the Mets organization since September 2016 when he signed a minor league contract.

Tebow played with the low Class-A Columbia Fireflies before he was promoted to the high Class-A St. Lucie Mets in June.
