Ticket sales increase for Panthers first season at Georgia State Stadium

Georgia State football ticket sales have surged in anticipation for the Panthers first season under coach Shawn Elliott.

Single-game ticket sales for the first season inside Georgia State Stadium have reached an all-time high since the program’s inaugural season in 2010 and season ticket sales total more than twice that of 2016.

“We are pleased with the direction of ticket sales entering our first year of Georgia State Stadium,” senior sssociate athletic director for external operations Brian Kelly said in a statement. “We also know that we want to make a strong push over this final month to have an incredible crowd not only for opening night on Aug. 31, but for the entire 2017 season.”

The Panthers’ season opener against Tennessee State is on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Georgia State Stadium.

Single game tickets and parking for all six home football games went on sale on Aug. 1 on Georgia State’s official website. Tickets start at start at $25 and parking is $10 in advance. Group ticket packages for groups of 10 or more start at $15 per game.
