SiriusXM and the SEC announced Thursday the launch of "SiriusXM SEC Radio"— a 24/7 channel dedicated to the coverage of SEC sports— will debut in early-2018.

The channel's programming will include coverage of several men’s and women’s sports including football, basketball, softball and baseball, new shows, simulcasts of SEC Network programming and weekly college coaches shows and press conferences.

Coverage will also include coverage of SEC Media Days and classic SEC game broadcasts.

"SiriusXM's new SEC-dedicated channel results from our fans' loyalty and passion, which demands we continue to expand the reach of the Conference in new and innovative ways," SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in a statement. "SEC fans have an interest in news and information, which they can now access through a SiriusXM channel that provides another opportunity to access timely, reliable and entertaining content about the Southeastern Conference."
