Here are a few things to know on Thursday:

1. Atlanta United defeats Philadelphia, 3-0

Atlanta United is officially headed to the MLS playoffs after Wednesday night's 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Union. Atlanta United's next game is at New England on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

2. Braves lose season finale to Mets

The Atlanta Braves lost the 2017 season finale to the New York Mets 7-1 on Wednesday at Citi Field. The Braves travel to Miami for a four-game series against the Miami Marlins to finish the season. Thursday's game begins at 7:10 p.m.

3. Falcons Taylor Gabriel thinks he can beat The Freeze

4. SEC Commissioner makes statement on FBI's college basketball investigation
