Here’s a few things to know on Thursday:

1. Braves defeat Giants with 11th inning homer

Atlanta Braves defeated the San Francisco Giants 5-3 on Wednesday night in extra innings with a two-run walk-off home run by left fielder Matt Kemp. David O'Brien reports all the Braves' runs on Wednesday night came from home runs. The Braves play the final game of a four-game series with the Giants at 7:35 p.m. on Thursday at SunTrust Park.

2. Atlanta United falls to D.C. United

Atlanta United (6-7-3) lost to D.C. United on Wednesday night 2-1. The match was tied 1-1 at halftime, but a late goal by D.C. United's Patrick Nyarko won the game at D.C.'s RFK Stadium. Julian Gressel scored Atlanta's only goal in the 17th minute. Atlanta United's next match is on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium against the Colorado Rapids. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

3. Falcons to report to training camp on July 26

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Wednesday that the team will report for training camp on July 26. D. Orlando Ledbetter reports select practices will be open for public viewing, but a "Friday Night Lights" event is not scheduled this year. The training camp schedule and which practices are open can be found on the AJC.com.

4. Freddie Freeman to move to third base?

While Freddie Freeman is eyeing a July 6 return, David O'Brien reports the Braves might be considering moving Freeman to third to accommodate first baseman Matt Adams.

5. NBA Draft starts tonight

The 2017 NBA Draft will begin on Thursday night from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Chris Vivlamore breaks down who the Hawks could select with the No. 19 overall pick. The Hawks have two second round selections in addition to the first round pick. The Draft will begin at 7 p.m. and viewing information can be found on the AJC.com.
