Here are a few things to know on Thursday:

1. Braves routed by Rockies

The Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz gave up 11 hits and eight runs in 3 1/3 innings during Wednesday night's 17-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies scored more runs on Wednesday than in any Braves opponent has in one game all season. The Braves and Rockies play the Coors Field series finale on Thursday at 3:10 p.m.

2. Devonta Freeman could return soon

Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn told media on Wednesday that running back Devonta Freeman could return to the practice field in the "next couple of days." Freeman was played into concussion protocol on Monday after leaving practice on Sunday.

3. Georgia Tech walk-ons earn scholarships

Georgia Tech quarterback Chase Martenson, defensive backs Zach Matthews and Josh Selembo and B-back Brady Swilling earned scholarships on Wednesday after practice. Story on the scholarships and a video of the players being notified of their scholarships can be found on the AJC.com.

4. Louisville and Ole Miss reported to play in 2021 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game

According to a report by FBSSchedules.com, Louisville and Ole Miss have agreed to play in the 2021 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. More on the AJC.com.

5. Falcons sign running back Jhurell Pressley

The Falcons signed former New Mexico running back Jhurell Pressley on Wednesday after a reported workout with the team. The Falcons also agreed to an injury settlement with running back B.J. Daniels who was waived on Tuesday after suffering a hamstring injury.
