Here are five things to know on Friday:

1. Braves to start series with Diamondbacks

After the All-Star break, the Atlanta Braves return to SunTrust Park to begin a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The first 20,000 fans to enter SunTrust Park for Friday's game will receive a Matt Kemp bobblehead. Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m.

2. Hawks sign Ilyasova to one-year deal

The Atlanta Hawks agreed to a one-year, $6 million contract with free agent Ersan Ilyasova on Thursday. Ilyasova, a forward, was acquired by the Hawks in February and played in 26 regular-season games.

3. Braves prospect Acuna plays first game with Triple-A Gwinnett

After the Atlanta Braves promoted outfield prospect Ronald Acuna from Double-A Mississippi to Triple-A Gwinnett, Acuna played his first game with the Gwinnett Braves on Thursday night. In the G-Braves 13-4 win at Charlotte, Acuna hit a home run and finished 3-for-5 with a walk and two RBIs.

4. Georgia Tech lineman named to Outland Trophy watch list

Georgia Tech guard Parker Braun was named to the 2017 Outland Trophy watch list on Thursday. Starting the Yellow Jacekts last eight games as a true freshman, Braun helped lift the Yellow Jackets to end the season with a 6-2 record.

5. Atlanta United has another week off

Atlanta United won’t play in a match for the second-straight weekend, but will return to the pitch next Friday to play Orlando City at Orlando City Stadium.
