Here’s five things to know on Wednesday:

1. Braves defeat Pirates, 6-5

The Braves won the second of four games against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night at SunTrust Park. Matt "Big City" Adams hit a walk-off single after more than a three-hour rain delay to win the game, 6-5. The Braves play the Pirates again on Wednesday at 7:35 p.m.

2. Georgia's Yante Maten to return for senior season

After declaring for the NBA Draft in April, Yante Maten will return for his senior season with the Bulldogs. Seth Emerson has the specifics.

3. Georgia Tech baseball out of ACC Tournament 

The Yellow Jackets were eliminated from the ACC Tournament after a 6-5 loss to Miami in 13 innings on Tuesday night. The Yellow Jackets lost in the opening game of the tournament from a walk-off single.

4. NFL relaxes touchdown celebration rules

The NFL announced on Tuesday some touchdown celebrations that were previously penalized will be fair game in 2017. The NFL will now allow celebrations that use the football as a prop, celebrate on the ground and group celebrations.

5. Georgia State, Georgia Southern assigned to Sun Belt East Conference

The conference assignments in the Sun Belt Conference's new divisional format were announced on Tuesday. The conference is broken down into two five-team divisions with Georgia State and Georgia Southern in the East Conference with Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina and Troy. More on the AJC.com.
