Ronald Acuna Jr. went 0-for-4 with a strikeout as the designated hitter for the Gwinnett Stripers Saturday night at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Acuna played the second game of his rehab assignment for the Braves.

Acuna went on the disabled list May 28 after sustaining a sprained knee ligament and knee and back contusions while running to first base in Boston.

Friday marked the first game action for the top prospect in almost a month. He went 0-for-2 in a rain-shortened game.

The Stripers’ pitching staff allowed a season-high four home runs in a 10-4 loss to the Columbus Clippers Saturday.

Roswell native Connor Johnstone was promoted from Advanced-A Florida to Gwinnett before the game and got the start. He allowed two earned runs and six hits in three innings.
