Alabama coach Nick Saban is expected to promote Mike Locksley to Alabama offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, ESPN’s Chris Low reported Friday morning.

Locksley, who served as co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach last season for the Crimson Tide, will be Alabama’s fourth offensive coordinator in three years.

A former defensive back at Towson State University, Locksley has had stints as Maryland’s offensive coordinator (2012-2015) and New Mexico head coach (2009-2011).
