Could these Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers teams be remembered among the ranks of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls of the late-90s?

No one can know for sure in the moment, but fans are watching the NBA’s two best teams play in historic numbers.

ESPN announced on Monday the 2017 NBA Finals through the first two games are the most watched since the 1998 Bulls played the Utah Jazz.

Sunday night’s Game 2 was also the most watched Game 2 of any NBA Finals since the Bulls defeated the Jazz 93-88 in 1998. Golden State’s 132-113 Game 2 win over the Cavaliers drew a total live audience of 20.1 million.

After winning Game 2 in 1998, Jordan— voted the 1998 Finals MVP— and the Bulls went on to win the six-game series.
