In an interview with the Associated Press released on Wednesday morning, retired Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps revealed he's not planning to make a comeback.

Phelps, history’s most decorated Olympic athlete, announced he would retire after the 2016 Rio Olympics in Aug. 2016.

“I’ve got no desire — no desire — to come back,” Phelps said to the AP.

Phelps knows retirement has been good to him so far.

In late August, Phelps and wife Nicole announced they were expecting their second child. The couple's son, Boomer, is 16 months old.

Phelps told the AP he’s been more involved in Nicole’s second pregancy because he hasn’t had a strict training schedule to stick to this time around.

Although the 32-year-old isn’t interested in coming out of retirement, he’ll without a doubt be watching his former teammates on Team USA compete in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

“It’s time to kind of move on and watch other people come into their own,” Phelps said, according to the AP.
