It's no secret the Matt Ryan of 2016 improved greatly over the Matt Ryan of 2015.

Not only did last season's Ryan lead the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl, an NFC Championship win and a division title, the League MVP also improved in his touchdown to interception ratio.

Over the middle of the field, Ryan threw for 26 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2016— a marked improvement from his six touchdown, 12 interception performance in 2015.

Overall, Ryan threw 38 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in the 2016 regular season compared to 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2015.

Ryan also improved in his passer rating on pass attempts aimed to the middle of the field in 2016. Last season, Ryan had a passer rating of 125.3 and in 2015, his passer rating was 82.2, according to Pro Football Focus.
