Atlanta Falcons quarterback and reigning League MVP Matt Ryan was nominated for Best NFL Player award for the 2017 ESPY Awards.

This year’s ESPY Awards hosted by Peyton Manning will be held on July 12 at 8 p.m. from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater.

Nominated with Ryan for Best NFL Player are Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Ezekiel Elliott and Khalil Mack.

The Falcons as a team are nominated for Best Game for Super Bowl 51 against the New England Patriots. The other nominees are the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians for Game 7 of the 2016 World Series and Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open Final.

The Patriots also have a player nominated for Best Championship Performance (Tom Brady) and Best Catch (Julian Edelman).
