Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a five-year, $137.5 million contract Thursday, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

If confirmed by the 49ers, the deal would be the biggest deal in NFL history on an average per year basis.

Garoppolo, a former second round draft pick out of Eastern Illinois, was traded to the 49ers in late-October and played in the last six games of the season for the 49ers, winning the last five.

With the 49ers, Garoppolo threw for 1,560 yards, eight total touchdowns and five interceptions in six games.
