The Atlanta Hawks announced Monday the team signed forward Tyler Cavanaugh to a multi-year contract.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reported the deal is a two-year contract, but the team did not release details.

Cavanaugh, who signed a two-way contract with the Hawks on Nov. 5, has played in 19 games for the Hawks including one start and has averaged 5.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13.8 minutes.

A first-year player out of George Washington, Cavanaugh ranks fourth in 3-point percentage among rookies (40.9 percent) and is tied for 18th in assists per game.

Cavanaugh also has shot 50.7 percent from the field and 76.9 percent from the free throw line.
