Hawks guard Kyle Korver has hit a 3-pointer in 88-straight games.

HOUSTON - Kyle Korver did not travel with the Hawks to Houston and will miss Wedneseday’s game against the Rockets due to a rib contusion.

The guard was injured during Tuesday’s loss to the Magic. He will be listed as day-to-day by the team but his future status in uncertain. He remained in Atlanta for treatment.

The missed game will not affect Korver’s streak of consecutive games with a 3-pointer. The streak would only be affected if he plays. Korver hit a 3-pointer in his 88th straight game Tuesday. He is one away from tying the NBA’s all-time record of 89 set by Dana Barros.

Shelvin Mack, who suffered a sprained left ankle Tuesday, and Lou Williams also did not make the trip. Williams is not playing in back-to-back games initially has he returns from a torn right ACL.
