Georgia Tech, Tennessee among top 10 most watched college football games this season

Georgia Tech and Tennessee’s double-overtime season opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is one of college football’s 10 most watched games so far this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ 42-41 loss in the Labor Day Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game brought in 5,141,000 million viewers, ranking seventh in viewership out of all college football games televised through week eight of the season.

The most viewed game this season was the first Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between Florida State and Alabama, which drew 12,343,000 viewers.

Oklahoma at Ohio State, Florida at Michigan, Michigan at Penn State and Michigan State and Michigan round out the top five most watched games, according to a tweet by ESPNs Daren Rovell.
