Georgia Tech was consistently one of 3-star wide receiver Shedrick Jackson’s top choices, but the nephew of legendary Auburn running back Bo Jackson decided to commit to the Tigers on Monday.

In an announcement video released on Monday morning by the AL.com, the 6-foot-2, 195 pound rising senior from Hoover High School in Hoover, Ala. detailed the work and thought that went into his decision to attend Auburn.

"My family got me this far," Jackson said in the video. "Where will I go from here? Well, like they say, it runs in the family."

Jackson unofficially visited Auburn on June 3 and attended an Auburn football camp on June 17, according to 247 Sports.
