After reportedly visiting the Seattle Seahawks and taking a physical on Tuesday, defensive end Dwight Freeney has found a new team.

Freeney, 37, on Twitter announced his signing Tuesday night writing, “Time to get loud, 12s.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Freeney signed a one-year deal because the Seahawks need more pass rush power. Freeney will take defensive end’s Cliff Avril’s roster spot, according to Schefter.

Seahawks starting defensive end Michael Bennett has struggled with injuries this season, most recently with a foot injury in Week 7.

After spending the 2016 season with the Atlanta Falcons, Freeney was a free agent for the first half of the 2017 season.

The 15-year veteran spent the majority of his career with the Indianapolis Colts and had stints with the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals.
