Former Bulldog and New York Jets linebacker Jordan Jenkins was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Against the Buffalo Bills Thursday, Jenkins recorded his first two sacks of the season along with three tackles –– two for losses –– and two hits on the quarterback. The Jets went on to defeat the Bills 34-21 win.
