Atlanta Braves outfield prospect Ronald Acuna was promoted from Double-A Mississippi to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.

The No. 1 prospect in the Braves’ minor league system and No. 10 on Baseball America’s midseason Top 100 prospects list, Acuna is expected to play his first game with the Gwinnett Braves in Thursday’s series opener at Charlotte.

In 57 games with Mississippi, the 19-year-old Acuna had a .326 batting average with nine home runs and 19 stolen bases and was chosen to play in the All-Star Futures Game on Sunday at Miami’s Marlins Park.
