The University of Georgia tops this season’s first college football playoff rankings.

Premium: Georgia gets No. 1 ranking | Mark Bradley | Jeff Schultz

Georgia sits at No. 1 followed by Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson. Fans on Twitter immediately reacted to the rankings.
